Here is a little history about the fires at in Sycamore Canyon, After the fires there was talk of restoring the Goodan Ranch house and barn. The Friends of Goodan Ranch / Sycamore Canyon pleaded with the County of San Diego to restore the house. But, as you can see, they lost the battle. Today the remnants of the fires at Goodan Ranch / Sycamore Canyon are still visible.
